Announcing the

Family Fuel Adoption Program

Keeping Campers Warm This Winter

Winter is here, and many of our neighbors living full-time in campers and RVs face serious challenges staying warm through the cold months. The Yancey County Long-Term Recovery Group (LTRG) is launching the Family Fuel Adoption Program — a propane assistance initiative designed to help ensure that our camper and RV residents have access to safe, reliable heat this winter.

Our Goal:

To ensure Yancey County’s camper and RV residents stay safe and warm all winter long.

How We’ll Do It:

● Partnering with a local propane supplier to provide affordable and efficient fuel delivery

● Using community donations to fund propane refills for those most in need

How You Can Help:

Every dollar donated goes directly toward propane refills for local families.

Ways to Donate:

● Donate directly to the Yancey LTRG (online or by check) and designate your donation for the “Family Fuel Adoption Program.”

● Call Blossman Gas in Burnsville and ask to donate to the LTRG account.

● Contact Project Manager Becky Ammons at becky@yanceyltrg.org or call Becky at 828-206-1360.

Together, we can keep families warm, safe, and cared for this winter.

**For a tax deductible donation, donate directly to the LTRG and designate your donation as being for the “Family Fuel Adoption Program.” Thank you so much.
